About the Michelin CrossClimate
The CrossClimate is the tire that made all-weather a serious category rather than a compromise. Michelin used a V-shaped tread and a compound that stays flexible in the cold to produce something genuinely severe-snow rated that still steers, brakes and wears like a proper summer touring tire when it is warm. That combination is rare. For a Calgary driver who does not want two sets and refuses to give up dry-road manners for eight months of the year, this is the strongest option on this page. It costs accordingly, and it is worth it if you will keep the car.
