About the Toyo Observe GSi-6
The Observe GSi-6 is where a lot of sensible buyers land. It is a studless winter tire with a directional tread that clears slush well and a compound that stays pliable through Calgary's deep cold snaps, and it covers cars, crossovers and SUVs. You give up a little outright ice braking against a Blizzak and a little tread life against an X-Ice, but the gap is smaller than the price gap. For a daily driver that lives in the city and sees plowed roads most of the time, this is plenty of tire, and we fit a lot of them.
